I am sorry about the loss of your beautiful son Kyle. My son is two and he weighs 42 pounds. The carseat he is in has a max weight limit of 40 pounds. I went to the story today and bought what I thought was the next seat for him: a graco turbobooster that fastens with a seatbelt. I felt weird about having my two year old in this kind of seat and so I decided to do some research online. I didn't even know that a five point harness was still an option. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My wife and I feel for your loss and thank you for your video. We found this while researching car seats for our 7-month old. He's about to move out of his infant car seat and into a new rear-facing convertable type seat. He will most definatly be going into the Britax Regent or the Radian80 5-point harness seat. Your message to keep our son in a 5-point has taken to heart. We thank you again.... So sorry for your loss. Blessed be.

My wife and I have four kids. For my almost three year old I have him in the SafeGuard Go. It is an awesome seat. I recommend it highly. This was a sad but great video. I am a car seat tech and use my own crash story in 2003 to drive the point home about the importance of keeping our little ones in car seats.God bless.Bill in Mount Vernon, WA

Thank You for your gift! My son is 3.5 years old and 40lbs. I was looking online for the safest booster seat when a google search for "5 point harness" bought me to your video. Needless to say Pierce will be in a harness until he is driving the car.Thank you again and may you find comfort in all you have done to save other childrens lives. May your beloved baby rest in peace.

I cried watching your video and I am SO sorry for your loss.I have a 2-year-old daughter, Katie, and a 5-week-old son, Kyle! My daughter has a Britax Decathalon and my husband balked at the price when I bought it, but I didn't care. After watching your video, I know that I made the right decision. When my son is old enough to move into a larger car seat, he will get her seat, and she will get a Britax Regent! Thank you so much for sharing so that other children may benefit. God Bless you!

There is also another 5-point harness seat designed for children over age 1 and up to 60 pounds - it is the Safegard Go Seat. Sells for $199 and well worth every penny. This video shows what can easily happen when kids aren't properly secured. Take it to heart and don't think that just because they make the loose-type boosters that it is ok to use them for your precious babies, even after they've grown into 'big kids'. Hopefully our laws will soon change about this.
