I wish there were more teachers like him. My creative writing and public speeking class would've been SO much more helpful with him.

The camera work and cinematography is just as poetic and magnificent as the scene!

I like how Mr. Keating tries to free Todd of his worries and help him voice out his opinions and ideas. What a great teacher! I also like how he tried to make Todd forget that anyone is there when the class starts laughing at him.

If you ever need a moment to truly feel alive, find a high deserted place--a balcony, a hill, anything--late at night and sound your barbaric YAWP. Hear it echo, then run like hell, because the world doesn't appreciate poets anymore. :)

Maybe that people did not understand what I said about this scene(stage). I would not want that there is confusion, notably because already I like totally this film and secondly parce Robin William is my beloved actor! Thus when I say " movie outsite of reality from our poor world " I thought of saying that it is film-UFO, unclassifiable so I love it it goes away from our poor world, from our reality thus I would not want that there is a misunderstanding. This film is a masterpiece for me!

Ashitaka, I think that sometimes some of us can take a scene or a moment in this film, or even a sentence from a character, at least one, and relate it to their own life and the world around us. The film taps into our soul. |
