Final Fantasy 6 Advanced_The Dragon's Den

First things first. Since Square decided not to make a guide for this, you might get stuck. You can't go wrong with KinieWings's Guide on gamefaqs.com Thanks dude! The only thing bad about this game is that it's too easy. Find a way to challenge yourself. I don't like the low level challenge because I love to level up! ^_^ I choose to use lesser characters.Terra is going solo!! Locke and Celes make team 2. Relm and Shadow make team 3.The Dragon's Den is very fun. Think of it as Kefka's Tower on steriods!! You need to use 3 parties, but it's MUCH longer, and there are tons of puzzles. There's even a place where there are guys walking the bridges, and if they knock you off this time around, it's a long way back up!! Between this, the puzzles, the random battles, the Eight Dragon's and the backtracking, you'll be in this place for at least 2 to 3 hours! No joke! If you want to get through some of these boss battles in a flash, bring the Ultima Master Glove. (2 Ultima Weapons, Master Scroll, and the Genji Glove) Just watch out for those tricky random monsters like Vilia and Death Rider!!The suped up dragons are indeed harder than they where before, but you'll be stronger too. The only one you really need to worry about is the Red Dragon. If your evasion is high and you're immune to fire, he won't stand a chance. If you're evasion is low, and you aren't protected against fire attacks, he'll mop the floor with you! Bring the Paladin Shield or the Fire Shield and watch out for that Ultima in the end. You can't hurt him..he needs to kill himself, but he might wip you you first! Don't come in this place if you don't have Rasp or Omose, otherwise the Skull dragon will be impossible to beat. The Ice Dragon is a little tricky too, but because my Terra is impossible to hit, he didn't stand a chance. Still, there's 4 of them, and if you get frozen, you're in trouble. The other 5 dragons are just a little stronger than the originals. They won't stand a chance against the Paladin Shield and the Ultima Master Glove.Finally........The fight with the HARDEST monster in the game...Kaiser Dragon. I don't know what's wrong with me. Maybe I'm some kind of monster.......If you want to try this with one person, read on!I love to have Terra go solo. She kicks ass! With the right equip, she's pretty much unstoppeble. I usually give her 2 Lightbringers. And the Armor and Relics vary depending on the area. This is one of the few battles I used the Ultima Weapon, because his defense is just too damn high. I didn't use the Genji Glove with the Master Scroll because all of his attacks are elemental, so the Paladin Shield was a must. Plus the master scroll alone will attack 4 times, so I used the other Relic for a Ribbon...which is also needed.The Kaiser Dragon is a tough one. Ultima Master Glove isn't going to win this one unless your luck is good. He has LOTS of attacks, and I think the Paladin Shield is a must. He has about 190,000 HP too. Sure the Paladin Shield makes the fight unfair, but Square was ready for this. He can still freeze you, and there's a few attacks you need to worry about if that happens. Apparently he has an attack that does 9,999 regardless of your defense....Hyper Drive. He'll also Doom you for 20 seconds. Another reason why the Ultima Master Glove won't work is because you need a Ribbon on. You never know when he'll change into his status effect form. Not only that, but with 2 Ultima Weapons, your evasion isn't going to be very high, and he can also attack you 3 times in a row with powerful punches. To make a long story shory, you don't know what this guy is going to do until it's too late, so be ready for anything. His last attack is ultima..so have Reraise ready, just incase....which is basically Auto-Life in FFX talk. He's not as hard as I make him sound..considering that I beat him with only 1 person. But if you're not ready for him, he'll mop the floor with you.Returning to the where the Kaiser Dragon was, you'll fight the Omega Weapon. Believe it or not, the Kaiser Dragon was a lot harder. Omega Weapon DOES have some cheap attacks. Ribbon is a must. There are 2 attacks that you won't see this this movie. Grand Delta and the Delta Attack. He also has a move that dispels all effects..including Reraise. The reason why he's not hard is because he basically has a pattern. Still, you need to cast Reraise as much as possible because he might freeze you too. At least he doesn't have a last minute Ultima attack like the Kaiser Dragon did. There's no prize for this fight..it's just a challenge. But the Kaiser Dragon is a lot harder.
