Have you ever heard any pieces of emo music?What they play and the whole album is thousand miles far from emo. Really. I mostly listen to widely defined metal and I can say, that 'The Scythe' album is one of the most original power metal acts I've ever heard.

damn you really need to go and post this on every video of them you find? Got your point- i like their old work more too but enough- they don`t owe us anything- they play what they feel like and if we like it good, if not -good. Just because u bought their old albums doesn`t mean they have to keep singing the same thing all their lives. Besides, they will release an unplugged sometime soon so stop whining. Entertain yourself with some Leprechaun meanwhile

cant believe they went from a great album like Heathenreel, to this emo sounding bullshit. They had a really original sound now they sold out to sound more mainstream. compare this album to Heathenreel, and you will know understand i mean

i think damnas vocal change is just cause of the scythe album. hes changing his style to more hard gutteral vocals for now cause of what they did with the scythe. hes still one of the best vocalists ive ever heard!

I think damna is a little sickly in his voice, not sure but i heard this rumor and i remember that when i saw them live i had an inflammation..
