Steven King of kingofguitar.com performs solo medley of public domain titles: Midnight in Moscow, That's A Plenty, and Sweet Georgia Brown, fingerstyle guitar on a Gibson archtop, with walking bass line counterpoint. It's not perfect, King admits freely, not finely rehearsed, but it's a good suggestion of what's possible. Steven King's Fingerstyle Guitar College Online at www.kingofguitar.com is the place for advancing guitarists to enroll to legally access hundreds of King's popular, jazz, and variety solo guitar tab song arrangements, as well as learn King's RH and LH techniques. Or just check out all the good stuff and CD clips at www.kingofguitar.com. Note from Steven:Hi world! I truly realize that no one is the "king of guitar", no one can be, and I am humbled at the ever-advancing level of excellence of the art. Just a handle I came up with using my name and my trade in perhaps a controversial way, for the easy recognition factor of it... hey, I bet you won't forget it! I am happy to share what I have discovered, in my Fingerstyle College Online. Let's enjoy the art of music and guitar playing, and really learn and cherish the great music left to us from each generation. It's a treasure waiting for you to discover. Wishing you love, peace and joy on your journey through this temporal world of infinite musical worlds. SK

No offense to you personally, but a common misconception is that natural talent is the reason a musician reaches this level. Although it's true that some are born with a higher degree of natural talent, that isn't what gets them to the top of their field - hard work does that. I'm putting this here so those willing to do the work will know they can make if they work for it. Knowledgable musicians will tell you that hard work wins out over natural talent every time. This vid shows both. :-)
