i agree with emizbkin reciting the quran helps relaxes you spirtually and mentally in a unique and unexplainable way its a feeling of peace which is placed upon you removing a heavy burden. This goes to show how much the quran can effect a human/muslim life may allah help us all and guide us on the right path and to correct our sins so that we shall not repeat the same sin over imeen
