ok everyone says troy smith is too short, but i think drew brees is about six feet tall... people think they know everything dont they?

Im a Ravens fan and to fellow Raven fans they didnt turn their back on T Smith because the QB position is up for grabs and if Smith has what it takes in the post season he'll start week one.

I agree that size is not the be all end all factor, but being 6 inches taller reduces the chances of a ball being batted down, and increases your ability to see over the line and get a better overall view of the field... I see his skillset, know he's accurate, has a stronger arm, and being taller is just icing on the cake. Smith may turn out to be a good QB, but Flacco's ceiling is way higher.

i dont think size has anything to do with being an elite QB. have you heared of a QB. named drew bress. ya i rest my case. he is just 6 foot, and i love flacco, and i agree with 70 percent of what ur saying, but i dont think it will be because of his size, that prevents him from startin all year. its because Flacco is the QB. of the future...GO RAVENS SUPERBOWL CHAMPS!!!!!

I think Troy Smith is a good QB, but don't think he has the size to be an elite QB. Flacco has all the tools and the attitude to be that guy... I'm sure we'll see a few weeks of Troy Smith at the beginning of the season to see what he can really do though. Flacco will be starting by week 5 or 6, though

biggest ravens fan ull meet rite here....i hope to god he comes in and just dominates in camp.....i hear that troy smith if the front runner for the job cause of his leadership skills.....but all i hope is that we have good qb in baltimore...and that flacco isnt a bust since hes from a small school.....hopefully he turns out like a ben roethlisberger...the good one...not the one from 2 years ago lol....good luck to the ravens....smith and flacco is future in b-more

but wat ever u do dont hate on flacco. dont forget he was a Division 1 recruit but decided to go to Delaware because he was concerned with playing time.

i honestly feel that flacco is overrated. Troy Smith really should have gotten a chance. but since FLacco is a #1 draft pick that means he is gettin $ and that means the ravens want to get there $'s worth. Troy might start the 2008 season and be traded and then it will be Flacco's team

i hate this kid, hes so fucking overrated, the ravens shouldn't have drafted this kid, they seriously should've given troy smith a chance. I hope he starts this year and proves everyone that he is a good quarterback! |
