Who cares about winning or losing in the Olympics 99% of the athletes don't even care about winning, all of them are just happy with the chance to compete. So why can't Oscar race, he's got a great heart and spirit, besides the "legs" that he was given still leave him at a disadvantage if you read into it, that's why he was allowed to compete, this debate ended because this was found out and that's why he is allowed to run.

if you bother to read the findings of his "springloaded" prosthetics....scientific findings that is, you will read that his stride length is significantly shorter than athletes of the same height and size. height is determined by the size of his femur( thigh bone) thus meaning his blades are not "spring loaded". if you watch him run you will also notice there is no actual give in the prosthetics which makes it impossible to "spring" .

is he better at life than i am? yeah. will he accomplish more success than i'll dream about? probs. I'm just saying..he's taken a HUGE disadvantage in life and with the help of these crazy springloaded prosthetics, has made his disadvantage into a slight advantage. thats just my opinion. but like u said.. i'm a stupid idiot.
