I'm surprised this hasn't been uploaded already, as it was Donna's second-biggest ever hit in the UK, reaching #3 in December 1977.

Eddietwang - What does being the face for a "German production company" has to do with singing? I have attended her concerts and she was ok -- but never lousy! You did her PA but did you actually engineer her set-up? Did you master mix? Did you produce any of her music? Furthermore, why bring up her laxatives. Did you wipe her butt? Is that the reason you dislike her? NONE of your reason makes any sense. Really.

You are so wrong!

l disagree!!!,donna was just a face for a german productian company.she never wrote a song and could never sing live, she always mimed!..l should know l was her pa in the seventies.she used to eat laxatives to help keep her weight down but one time she followed through whilst performing on top of the pops, jimmy saville spewed up with the stench!..you couldnt make it up!

discomadame - Most list are made up by morons that know little about the subject they cover. It is a shame that Donna is not on a list of the most influential albums/artists of all time. The problem is the perception that disco is for dancing fools. Without Disco there would be no Techno, Electronica and so on. Her best, in my opinion, is "Once upon a time". Too much to say about DS, GM and PG. People that know and understand music DO recognize her importance in the scheme of things - right?!

That's like the perfect combination! Shows how versatile they were. Disco, proto-house, 50's girl group-sound...

I really agree withcha! She's the best and together with Moroder & Belotte they made miracles in music. Simple, elegant, rough, genius. Great melodies. Like the entire "Bad girls" album, there's not a bad song on that record. When will Mojo vote this album as one of the 100 greatest of all time??????!!! New Order took that whole "Our love" rhythm to "Blue Monday" and still Donna is never seen on these greatest albums ever-lists!!! a shame.
