Vick is a first time offender who came from one of the most violent neighborhoods in the country. His apology seems extremely honest, he is almost guaranteed to never repeat charges, and for him to be slapped with two years means all of our tax money is being wasted on another punishment that doesn't fit the crime. Vick is one of the best athletes ever, and federal offenses aside, Vick's two years is 21 months too much compared to more violent HUMAN offenders. Rapists get shorter sentences.

And dog fighting isn't a mistake thats easy to come by. I you want to get into that buissiness you have to go out of your way to get involved in it and you have to be a complete asshole on top of that. So its not like oh poor Vick stumbled upon dog fighting and he happened to get caught doing it, its morre like Vick's an asshole

I think imperfect is a bit of an understatment. Im not even an animal lover and I think what he did was fucked. And if he was so sorry why did it take him getting caught to apologize, he would still be doing that shit right now.
