The beauty of the Porto Media approach is the mass market possibilities that far outperform the simplicity and cost of an iPhone.Today people get a keychain size movie rental CARD from their movie store. What a simple and impactful improvement it would be to get a keychain size FlashCard. Much simpler, affordable, and laser focused on delivering movies quickly, and without the recurring costs of an iPhone.P.S. I LOVE iPhones...but in this case, the Porto Media approach seems superior.

oh really, you can do all that in the supermarket? I can open up my iphone select a movie from my fav tracker and send it to my pc and watch it directly without any pc interaction at all through xbmc, I can also keep the movie for free forever. can you say obsolete??

1.5GB from their terminal to their device, not their device to a portable media player...they must have some internal player built into the flash sticks, with an extended buffer and large cash for preloading, thats my 2 cents on this

1.5GB in 15seconds - nice blarney fellas! That would require a sustained transfer greater than the USB 2.0 specifications. Also what protable media player runs windows and takes a USB stick - more blarney!

This is the future! What a great idea.
