Saw these live at the Odeon Birmingham many years ago, I was on the second row. Also billed was Olivia Newton John ,Fantastic Performance by all.

Another wonder album - they were right up there with the best songwriting guys in the world. Hank had an amazing touch on guitar too. Hardly anyone could do what he could. Imagine the vibe around the savage when it first came out

Second Opinion really made me fan of these guys--loved the songs Black Eyes and Lonesome Mole. I wish they could've done more.

I would also recommend The Shadows (Farrar joined in) Specs Appeal album--there's a lot of great vocal/rock songs on that in the style of MWF.

For too long in the "shadow" of Cliff Richard. But with John Farrar added they sound the goods dont they. Wish they had sung much more.

john farrar is Australian performer who joined them after his time in Australian band "the strangers"also on youtube....note the song "happy without you" from them.He played bass i think.John was a great songwriter here.He wrote "magic"for Olivia newton john.
