So like i said, Dont bother comaring Doherty to Lennon. Because these comparisons make me ill. I have no doubt that in 20 years time people will sadly go on about how gr8 Doherty was. yeah, hang on a minute mate. I have the 1st libertines album which is better than there second by a fucking distance. And I have both babyshambles albums. And I went to see them about 5 days ago at benicassim. So before you think Im being a gullable, mainstream fucking sheep like everyone else, i'd advise u to stop talking to me like i havnt heard a single song hes written! No he's not as good as John Lennon and shouldnt be seen as the John Lennon of our time because he's no-where near as good.

I love Pete as well, but I disagree that he takes drugs just to prove he is "rock n' roll"...he was plenty charismatic and "rock n' roll" even without the drugs. I truly believe that he has a real addiction. Actually, I feel he is more lucid in this interview than people realize. I think he's knowingly playing into the interviewer's hand. He knows what she wants...
