No need for a video on that as is too simple. Just basic woodworking skills? I have shown how to make a base for woodpecker on that film. For fish, not using a case. Make sure you set a bit wood into the back of the fish before you sew it up to screw into. Choose a nice peice of 1/2 " ply - with a veneer surface you want - Oak? Cut to size, shape, possibly router (mould) edges. Drill pilot hole for screw to pass though into wood inside fish. Sand, varnish and fix fish. Experiment after that.

If fish having gills shut I remove gill rakes. Pike's head in other film of mine here I made gill rakes from plaster head filling. Not needED to use natural rakes yet, suspect possible to brush with formaldhyd and let dry? Yet to experiment - maybe chat with a professional taxidermist, see if he will let you know? I am only a hobbyist taxidermist/naturalist (professional artist), and sharing what I have learnt from professionals, pals and also exploring! :-) When you find out write back to me?

I am about to put up a new one in a week or so - showing how to mount a Pike's head on its own. This goes into more detail. I have also just put on a two part film on mounting a small bird, Woodpecker. If you wish to subscribe you will be notified automatically, or simply keep looking back here? :-) Good luck and have fun.

The dry powder is BORAX - The liquid to inject is diluted formaldahyde as I say below? YES you are correct! :-) The same method is excellent for animals also, birds or beasts. Coat the inside of bird, animal skin in borax, and any difficult areas, inject with / also use formaldahyde. BUT I dont use sawdust on birds or animals - foam, or fibreglass wool. Hope this helps - P
