Most every Japanese band is unknown in the west. We don't have different ears, it's the big ol' music industry that's fucked up. In every western country people mainly hear music in their own language or english. To some degree the same with the movie-industry, but not to the same degree. There will be a day when common people open their ears to the world outside, but the fucking industry isn't excactly helping...
