Good work comrades.

No, but there is a point of diminishing returns, as with anything else. Happiness is the ultimate goal for any person, and technology has little to offer there. Actually, in many ways it reduces happiness. Especially today.

The supposed goal of technology is to advance in discovery-as in more information about our world, economic advancements, and making life easier for us. I could rule out the last two because we simply don't need them. But are you saying human discovery is bad?
withindarkness (October 4, 2008 at 11:35 pm)
What do those technological changes actually mean? And where are they headed? What is the goal of technological "advancement"?The illusion is calling that progress.

Very interesting. I'd like to hear more, if progress is an illusion, how have humans come from nothing to technological advances we see today?

Clearly your "point" is to say "capitalists are stupid". I don't argue with that, though I would use different words. My point is: If you meant "cavemen were capitalists" literally, using fictional information to attack real systems makes you look uninformed on history. You later say you're using the stereotype(which is not evident in your original post). Then it's poor language use, and shows ignorance of certain forms of anarchism (G@ and related).Either way there's no reason for anger.

Where did I support capitalism? I am against capitalism, monetary systems, and modern civilization in general.I supported tribalism and socialism, referring to it as "the best 'system' possible"I simply corrected a glaring piece of misinformation, as it makes anti-capitalists look uninformed, and feeds the anti-anarcho-primitivist position.

All supporters of Capitalism are right-wing. Look it up on wikipedia. You are an ignorant fool and I'm sick and tired of arguing with a right-wing ape that has the mental capacity of a 3 y/o. You totally miss the points I make and go after trivial minutia that I couldn't really care less about. STOP BOTHERING ME YOU UNEDUCATED TROLL
withindarkness (October 1, 2008 at 2:20 am)
Yes, "guide". That's the word I was looking for. Much better than "lead".
withindarkness (October 1, 2008 at 2:16 am)
Yes... everyone that doesn't agree with you is obviously "right-wing"."The world's moved beyond that in case you havn't been paying attention,"How can the world "move beyond" something it never had? How is "referencing a stereotype" of any use to your position here? Capitalism is archaic because fictional cavemen used it?Referencing would be: "Capitalists are like cavemen". It uses a stereotype descriptively."Cavemen were capitalists" is just historical inaccuracy.
