This and Xexex are two amazing shooters from a time when shooters were still awesome but rapidly being outmoded in the arcades by fighting games and beat-em-ups. You have to be pretty pro at these games to get through them without using a ton of credits.

It's a good game, but honestly it didn't live up to the first Salamander for me. Probably because the music isn't anywhere near as good as Salamander 1.
