This song is about him trying to get to his wife who has gone into early labour with their baby girl and the baby in the hospital. "You got wires going in, you got wires coming out of your skin" Powerful words, really hits home. Last Oct I had twin girls at 6 months, they were a pound and a half each, I can totally relate... There were so many wires. "Looking at you now, you would never know" I say the samething with my girls all the time. They will be a year Oct 20th and you would never know.
