they LIED againthey just announced today the VOLTS 1.4Liter gasoline engine does power the wheels ...heres a quote from msnbc report"GM did not intend to deceive people by maintaining that the MOTOR would only be used to recharge the batteries."so the volt is just another $40K OVERPRICED HYBRID with a 1.4 liter gasoline engine so whats new !

Yes, GM is completely stifled by modern American bureaucratic corruption, but at least give their engineers credit for creating a vehicle that could really make a difference in the environmental landscape, and pave the way for true EV's, instead of the "Hollywood image" lie that is the Prius. Read up on 80's GM management, and the EV1, you ignorant morons, and you will see what a miracle the EV1 was to have been born out of such corporate mediocrity.

GM = a lot of different brands. Chevrolet G.M out sold any one all alone in the country, But most importantly lasts more years and resells for far more dollars,any years later.It holds it values in any resale book references, the military shows GM vehicles do not even explode any where near as much as other vehicles in thousands of home made vids by our troops or as seen on live TV when going into Iraq a few years ago 24 hrs on TV. News crews lost lives proving that as 1 among facts too.
