I could see where the movie has had some influence. Don't know if that's good or bad. I love the game, but hated the movie.

Yeh, i agree. If I want an action game then I would go out to get GTA 4 or gears of war. I like silent hill because of the survival horror aspect of the game not for the action. If the character is more powerful then in my opinion then it detracts from the fun. I seriously think the developers should reconsider in tht aspect of game.

Meh... I'm kinda concerned about this. The combat has been revamped, which is definitely not a good thing. If the character is a good fighter then it makes the game considerably less scary, since you can actually KILL the enemies stalking you, and therefore making them less frightening.

If you go to wikipedia list of silent hill characters. it'll tell you their relations and how all of them come together in some some way. It does not know how Mary is related yet but they know she plays a part. I think i saw her in a screen shot. Also travis is in this game to. So, is this taking place AFTEr travis escaped from SH and mary is still alive?

i just hope this game is good, i heard on Wiki that it was KINDA related to SH2, because of the last name of the main character, it's the same last name of Mary, her maiden name
