wasn't hired on as an extra. Me and my Navy friends did it for free. We visited universal in our uniforms and got to watch them film a few senes. We asked if we could be extra's and they said why not.

Yeah... that's one of the reasons I didn't really like the movie because it was so obviously a Tom Cruise Stardom Vehicle. And then there were all the random ass plotholes etc, but I can't be bothered to go into detail. :P How did you get hired to be an extra if you don't mind me asking?

I didn't miss your point. I cited a counter-point. As for vacating the operation, you are going to get your wish. BHO has stated that he will recall US forces should he win the election. With a Democratic majority in Congress, that won't be a hard sell. We needed to shift our focus to bolstering native anti-Taliban forces anyhow. According to a recent CNN press release, BW-Worldwide is not going to field security operatives any longer. Coming from CNN, take it for what it is worth. |
