Look kid, laser canons are here today, the hornet on halo, same thing, all I'm saying is why is everything so modern instead of hi-tec, like they should be.-------------------------------And 500 years from now those same weapons/wehicles that are here today will look much different in design and will be composed of much different materials.By the way, I really don't think a weapon such as the laser cannon or a vehicle such as the hornet exists today.

Ohhhhh u guys dont get it when the halo 3 game was out most of people finished the game and saw the ending then in the belive trailers when the game was still not out(in development) the usnc soldier said ''IF WERE ARE STILL ALIVE IS BECAUSE OF THE CHIEF'' and then they stop and sigh and they both get sad and thinking about chief like if something bad had happened to him like he disappeared or died and for the people that have halo 3 and saw the ending know that chief disappeared with cortana.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything but Bungie gave a reason as for why the weapons look similar to today's even though they are 500 years apart. Their reason went along the lines of something like; the guns of today look a lot similar to the guns a hundred years ago (and) the only difference is that the designs and materials have changed. But yeah, I kinda agree with you. The weapons do look similar.

Wow, spartan lasers, spike grenades etc. etc. We have stuff like that already out(relatively speaking), but the game's things are much weaker in comparison.This one guy said to me "but oh, the rifles that tell you the ammo is new!" I told him "yeah for today's world it is, but something that takes place that far into the future,it's like pre evolution had hit planet earth! Plus the human weapons looks like it's based around world war 2 era not in the future.

it would be bloody interesting if you you had just started HALO 3 but because im a brigadeir on it it is a bit boring cause i know about the sniper and the spiker,but it wasnt very bad, but the guns looked likes fake shit.
