Im saying it was a 'no brainer' its like something a kid would do, get the biggest v8 cram it into to a vintage car and call it a sportscar kinda like that fool in Australia did with his 'Joss' supercar.....Hmmm as far as the cobra beats the viper down the strip, which viper are we talking here? ACR? I think if you check the figures stock v stock a viper is quicker, even if it werent id rather the viper....Cobra is the ONLY muscle car that looks like a vintage car....

And are you honestly saying putting a 427 into the chassis was a bad idea? You might already have spammed this vid to death, but watch it again and you'll see how wrong you are. The Cobra BEATS the Viper on the drag strip, and I see no traction problems for such an "overpowered" car.

He turned a colossal failure of a Brit car into one of the most iconic racing cars of all time. Yes, i'd rather be seen in a Viper than a Cobra, but in terms of driving fun, it's like comparing an Escalade to a Lotus, the Cobra is fun to drive, and the Viper is harsh and unforgiving. Not complaining about the way the Viper handles however :p

THats the point its not even a great idea!!! If anything its a stupid idea, the car i was overpowered for the chasis....And im not even kidding i would be embarrassed to be seeing in it....Ask any chick who didnt know shit about cars and she would think it was just a loud old car...I would have much more respect for shelby if he actually designed the car and didnt steal a body from the UK, if you think a shelby looks cool then i take it u think an MG looks cool? just more british crap.....

wollon, you disgust me. While the Challenger is the ultimate muscle car, you HAVE to love Shelby for coming up with this idea. The Cobra is the precursor to one of the best cars of all time, the Viper, so dont spout off shit like "i'd be embarrased to be seen driving" a cobra

Yeah i really wish i had that piece of shit lol.....If i had one id sell it, id be embarrassed to be seen driving the piece of shit as much as i would any other vintage car with a v8 in it....As for the performance, well put a v8 in a soap box and guess what? its quik, but its still a soap box. man you obviously don't know much about this RACING legend, the car NOT the man, this Cobra RACE car couldn't be touched when it hit the RACE circuit. The Cobra RACE car is a legend because of it's performance. By the way it is NOT acknowledged as a muscle car your the only one who thinks it is, it is in FACT a LEGENDARY RACE car and you only wish you could have a piece of shit worth as much and admired by so many.
