I once heard Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, and Jeff Buckley songs on the radio, one after another, as the sky turned red from the setting sun. Tears ran down my face and stained my shirt. The beauty and the sadness were devastating. The irony is that it made me embrace life even more. |
