While I'm agree, I think it might be a good way of breaking the opponent technique. Don't really know if it's possible (since the nage will try to do the trow against the floor).

Yess looks all nice, but the whole backflip bit is just showing off. Aikido is a martial art , not a stunt show.

yes and no.. we have several techniques which involves, protecting ourselves from danger. Punching n kicking is practically useless.Besides, if you're a girl, the last thing u want to do to a person attacking u is punch him... what u'd want to do is make him off balance, push him down, and run away as fast as u can in the opposite direction

yey! this type of demonstration's good for the public ^^ at least they'd get a picture that in a real fight, aikido's good for something.ouch... the last part he fell badly... that's gotta hurt... now i'm beginning to see y my sensei limits some techniques from me lol...
