Eguiat,Before you can become a pilot in the Navy or Marines, you need to have a 4 year degree...any degree. You will then apply for a pilot slot and if accepted, attend officer candidate school. Up completing OCS, you will report for flight training. If you can finish the second stage, called primary, and if you select jets, you will report for advanced jet training. Upon completion, you will finally get to fly the hornet. Contact me if you have questions.

it depends. Your an enginner student so youll most liely end up int he repair hangar or youll modify planes not likely that you fly planes. do know that you need to be an officer and have 4 years of flight school or college and you'll most likely be a naval aviator to fly hornets. im in rotc so my highschool years of rotc and 4 years of college will automatically promote me to an officer once i get out of college. Im not sure but i hope this helped - Zar
