I never meant I felt that way, my friend. Far from it! But let's face it. Many Americans seem to think the world revolves around them and as such, American English is considered the "world standard" of the English Language. Those Americans need to realize that many other countries have their own version of English. They need to watch the dubbed and original versions of Mad Max.I of course know better. England was around far longer than the USA.

With regards to the British meaning of Bum A Fag, here in the USA, calling somebody a bastard is a serious insult. Go to Australia and to be called a bastard is a very high compliment meaning you are a close trusted friend. America is not the only center of the English Language and as such, many words have different meanings in different countries.
