Also, I was wondering, is there glass or is it being projected in the air? It looks like there is glass, but it's hard to tell.

The Catwalk is surrounded by large transparent glass walls in a 45 degree angle and the images are reflections coming from a lcd display hiden below. No holography there. Just 2D images floating thru their reflection on the glass... Disney did it for the ghost saloon in Disney World in the 50's. |
