I agree, the woman at the beginning was actually very pretty.It's a shame that our world thinks we need to turn everything into perfection.Yeah...our world is full of flaws, but that's what makes us unique and beautiful.I love this so much. It proves such an amazing point.

I can't blame the media for the perception of beauty, its easy to turn off the tv, its easy to put the magazine down. As a kid it's easier to accept yourself. It's your own mind that makes you think perfection isn't obtainable.I don't see why no one looks to themselves as the problem anymore, it's always someone else that's to blame.

In our pursuit of perfection, we've become so artificial... it's sad really that when we look at photos in magazines etc, we're not really looking at people anymore.

the point is that our view of beauty it distorted and fake. we are always looking for perfection in someones face whether it is retouched or plastic surgery. so dove has a campagin for really beauty rather than this distorted image of beauty that we all try to reach up too and will do what ever we can do reach up to that level of perfection. |
