It's damn catchy indeed, also have a look at other classic Konami MSX soundtracks, especially maze of galious (knightmare 2), penguin adventure, metal gear or king's valley 2 - actually they were all great, even 20 years later.

To tell the truth, I never heard the original music, but this version is catchy ^^ I'll look for the original version, too ...
