Well it did crack before I even fired it the first time. When I redid it I used 1 inch grass clippings and that kept it from cracking.

k this is how you make a forge do you blacksmith awesome mid evil stuff becouse i want to one day try black smithing and i made a chest peice or what ever you call it with a sheet of iron and hammer i wana try it but dont have the stuff to do it with

A mix of sifted clay, sifted sand, and 1 inch grass clippings. I used a 1/1 ratio on sand to clay but I would recommend using a 4 to 1 clay to sand ratio.

when were you? buy that i assume you mean when did you see them but correct me if im wrongi saw them some i believe nov 2006 i think they where at the avalon theater in salt lake ut
