Fact: 100% of humans are made of 98% water.This isn't as hard as it looks.. the board he uses actually floats in water, and is attached to his feet. Once you catch a wave like this ( which is easy when you don't have to paddle at all ) then the wave practically rides itself. Because of gravity it's like rolling down a hill.
