Hi hadj187The FX35 has a 4x optical zoom as you may have already figured out (also pointed out by the reviewer here). What's disappointing only is that there is no zoom (not even digital zoom!!) available when shooting video with this thing. On the other side, it's got HD-recording which is pretty neat, I'd say.

I was wondering: How does this camera does it job in dark spaces like: clubs, bars etc. where i want to make photo's of me and my friends. Do i get very white faces with it? because the flash can't be adjusted?Do you recommend this camera for this or another camera?
cameralabs (May 21, 2008 at 8:24 am)
Yes definitely.

So in general, selecting the highest megapixel (10M in F35) should yield the best "overall" picture quality?
cameralabs (May 21, 2008 at 8:11 am)
By that I mean you'd need to reduce the resolution by a very large amount to see any benefit noise-wise. And that's only if the camera was intelligent enough to know it could 'bin' adjacent pixels to increase sensitivity. I don't know if the FX35 will do this.

My question was regarding udayagili's ccd size vs megapixels.
whk2006 (May 21, 2008 at 8:00 am)
I am interested to know this too. What do you mean by reducing the resolution greatly? Such as to from 10M to 3M?
cameralabs (May 21, 2008 at 4:43 am)
Yes I do, and in the surrounding area...
