It wouldn't be that great on portable gaming systems since it has limited colour and also you wont be able to see the screen unless you're on broad daylight. It's like if you turn the backlight off on your iPod. Then you can only see the display if you're in the sun.

prototipe...;-)

"protopite?"

Why would you want a smaller screen? The whole point of flexible displays is so that you can have a relatively large screen in relatively small device.

I too would love to see this technology in in a handheld game system. I know realistically it'll be another few years before even the rigid form of eInk will handle a fast enough refresh rate for it though.

the device in the man's hand which unfolds is a cell fone....but the only problem is that it cant show colours...only black and white...u can read the last slide on the fone it displays... GSM(Global System for Mobile) barcalona 2007

There is a cell phone in the works, if not out already.I cant wait, as a gamer i would love to see portable systems use this technology in the future.

Incredible.the technology uses natural light as apose to a backlight, so its better for your eyes.I beleive there is a cellphone that uses this technology, but i'm not too sure about it being available for purchase.

I'm waiting till they make the screen smaller - with more colors - and maybe in the far distant future - even with video
