Footbag: 1999: Windsen Pan
Here is one of those clips that I was talking about (probably in the previous Windsen Pan ankle-twister clips) from the S.A.C.K. (San Antonion Club Kickers) website, which I watched religiously back in 1999-ish, when I was new to the sport. I'm actually surprised that I still have these old clips.Notice the flipside pixie set -- bothsidedness was not common or sought-after back then. I mean, of course players like Lon and Daryl and Chad were trying to push it, but it had yet to catch on, especially compared to the success that it has catching on with new players today!!I recall really recently, an older generation BAPster (or maybe it was Ken, who practically is a BAPster (who declined induction multiple times)) was talking about how it was rare to see a combo or trick on both sides in those days, but it was especially notable, because it wasn't common.Ah right, it was Eli who said this in the commentary on the re-re-release of his ground-breaking DVD (formerly VHS), Aggressive Grounds. So yeah.Basically, Windsen was GOOD. In some of the other clips from the same time period and website, he was laying down a lot of triple dexes, which were much more of a big deal back then, obviously, 9 years ago...
