Wordpress is no doubt the best platform to start a blog. However for better security and control it is best to host the blogs on WordPress on your own servers with your own domain names.

About the video problem at the end - you didn't add a ] at the end of the Google Video code. (Just in case you haven't worked that out since November 2006. Well, don't mind me - I'm off to go tell Charlie Chaplin how to do comedy acting after that comment...)
