Mr. kl2000kl, NO WAY that Pavarotti is only on the second list of Italy's best tenors. He is in top 3 easily. OK, maybe Caruso was greater, but Luciano is greater than Gigli and Corelli (though they're great too).And ARAGALL was from SPAIN, not Italy. Aside from del Monaco, you could have put di Stefano or Bergonzi, not Aragall. Sorry, I never heard of Winberg, but Bjorling and Gedda certainly. I think Germany has had many more great tenors than Sweden. You could make that list.
