I'm not a republican, but I would be embarrassed to be one. I wish Ron Paul would clean up the party. I wish he succeeds eventually. The Republicans are hypocrits now.

You have the concept correct, only you are not thinking it through properly. Corporations DO run on profits and if and when they offer an unsafe, overpriced, or less than quality product, consumers will no longer buy that product. That is how the market (consumers) regulate big business.
