Honestly to me the only reason dark knight did so well because of ledger death and because he was in the movie the first was boring and the second but i think if Dc was smart allow them to do a bruce wayne series thanks tho

Yeah, and what's suspicious is that "Batman Begins" had basically the same premise that the "Bruce Wayne" series did. Here's a link to the Series Outline of the show that never was:kryptonsite(dot)com/brucewayne/outline(dot)htmI understand that they're both inspired by "Batman: Year One," but it's almost like the Batman people heard the ideas for the show, said NO, & then went "Now let's use their ideas to make a movie. More $ that way." Smallville is basically a consolation prize.

to bad they couldn't thats the problem with Dc they always tend to fuck up their character marketability if they were smart should have made a young Bruce Wayne series

Well, here's another quote from one of the producers: "It's a very clear statement: You can't use Bruce Wayne," Millar said. "We've got over it and we're moving on. There are plenty of other characters we can exploit." This was back in 2007, and that's why they decided to go ahead & make Green Arrow a regular this year. You can read it for yourself at this link:smallville(dot)wikia(dot)com/wiki/Bruce_WayneJust replace the (dot)s with periods. Batman isn't going to show up on Smallville.

You sure because they said they might for the next season.

Yes, I've watched the panel clips that are posted on here, but they never said they PLAN to have Bruce Wayne guest or get his own show. They said they'd like to, but couldn't. Here's an exact quote from one of the producers concerning Batman appearing on Smallville: "It's not our fault. We've tried and tried, but because of the feature-film franchise, they've made that kind of off limits. Unfortunately." Batman is a heavily guarded property due to the Nolan films, and Smallvile CANNOT have him.
