i had the honor of meeting Mr. Swearingen this year. he conducted our honors band for County Festival. he is a very nice man. fun to carry on a convo with. anyway, his music is amazing. im gonna have to say one of my favs from him is Eiger. this one is pretty cool though to. i love how most to all of his music has a story or meaning to it.

I love him as a composer because he writes good song and doesn't forget about percussion I being a percussionist myself he always has good intricate parts and even makes yoou pull out instruments you forgot you had like a slapstick and thetree chime
