Another actor who thinks he's the political shit, now that his acting career is washed up. This ain't 1980, Chuck; we are in a world of shit, and a slightly bigger trickle of oil from offshore or Alaska won't change things. We will NEVER see cheap oil EVER AGAIN ANYWHERE! It's Paradigm Shift (i.e. vehicles with non-petrol energy sources, sharing mass transit with the Nigras, etc.) from here on out. If you don't like that, then you can pay somebody to bring back your KFC bucket to you.

Congress is fine with it because it's someone else's money.Whenever I go to a restaurant and someone else is paying (which is about 99% of the time), I always go for one of the cheapest thing on the menu. Maybe that's just me.

Why don't we do what Warren Buffet did, purchase preferred shares with 10% interest?That way the companies could get the cash they need and we would be safe.Buffet didn't want to mess around with the toxic assets, why should we want them in our back yard? Probably the politicians are wanting to selectively dish out the 700B for political favor.
