I love sports and have a ton of respect for the guys who play them professionally, but the same goes for video games. What is the difference between playing star craft for a living and playing football for a living (other then the fact football players get more?). It is kind of like saying "teaching is not a profession, MEDICINE is a profession!Come on, just appreciate these guys for their skill in their craft, like you would any athlete.

For a lot of Americans, Halo is a sport. ESPN is already sponsoring MLG (Major League Gaming).

whats ur point. Getting a ball past a line seems just as pointless as playing starcraft. Running fast, tackling, and throwing a ball shouldn't really be praised, after all, we're not cavemen anymore. We don't need to hunt and shit. Nowadays whats in ur head is much more important. Sports player may seem like they make alot of money until u look at their owners. In that sense, playing starcraft seems more relevant that football to me.
