This song is nearly 30 years old. Cocaine and Jamaica have a very long and violent history together that stretches to this very day. I see this song as a kind of social statement. Remember that there are lots of wolves in sheep clothing not only in jamaica but the world. Rasta is more than flashing "locks". There are plenty of "lock" wearing rudeboys who will kill you in the drop of dime and think nothing of it. |
