Are you sure that the mercury isn't binding to the thiol in cysteine? I believe that disulfide bonds are important in actin. To which ligand in GTP would mercury bond?

Learn about mercury's effects and how to remove it by chelation therapy BEFORE doing anything. If you have amalgam fillings, they will have to be safely removed first. Some good sites for info, and where to locate a mercury-free dentist;iaomt(dot)orgtoxicteeth(dot)orgherballure(dot)com(forward-slash)mercuryforumAlso, check out/join the Yahoo groups Frequent-Dose Chelation and Adult Metal Chelation for advice.Again; read, learn and prepare BEFORE taking action!

There are ways to get the mercury out of your body, through detoxifying the body and building up the immune system. Please do some research, I don't have much info myself but I know that it is out there. You're own doctor doesn't have the answers, they are found with the alternative groups.Live in Peace Friend

Excellent.Impressively done.Mercury is not good for you. It's not a surprise, but, seeing more is believing more and understanding even more that mercury exposure is truly dangerous.

Hello.I had a lasting exposure to mercury from a thermometer aged about 7-9 (now 19), spilled it onto heated(!) bathroom floor and played with it. Started behaving oddly at school, and have suffered from mood swings, sleep and social problems, depression, etc ever since.I had a very happy childhood, but until the incident my quality of life has considerably fallen. Talked to the doctor about this not until recently - he states there is no possible correlation at all. period. Any comments?
