Sure, just right-click on any piece of content on your Zune and you'll see a delete option (or maybe it's "remove" - I can't recall). Or you can select the item and press the delete button - exactly like how you'd delete any other file off your PC.- Jason

Hey man, its me again, just bought an 80G today and got the software without problem this time. Iv already synched them both and now theres a lot of stuff on my zune. But now im wondering if there is any possible way to delete single pieces of content that i choose from my zune. Iv seen the option to erase all content from the zune and sync again but that sucks.

oh i must not have seen that, if it puts them into categories like that it'll be good enough for me. thx!

No, the way it organizes videos is still pretty basic: TV, MOVIES, MUSIC (music videos), OTHER, and ALL. It's not that great of an experience if you're looking for granularity. I tend to watch videos using Windows Media Center, so it doesn't bother me personally all that much.- Jason

will do man, thanks :) but btw, have there been any updates since release that do anything to improve the program's poor organization of files? I saw your tour of it and i was disappointed at how it just tossed all your videos in one giant ugly mess :(

Well, for what it's worth, I have the Zune software installed on six of my computers, and it works great on all of them (from a lowly 1.2 Ghz CPU to a quad-core CPU). In fact, it works so well that I don't use Windows Media Player any more - I use the Zune software to listen to music on all my computers. Give the Zune software a try on your new PC and I thin you'll be quite pleased. :-)- Jason

yeah i meant installing srry, and actually i think it was my comps fault. Apparently the software was trying to sync with my 360, which media connect was already doing on my computer. This was a massive conflict, and it caused my computer to crash. after that, every time i turned on my computer the PC usage would be at 100%. It was restored eventually, and im on a new comp anyways - Im just not sure if i want to try it again, even though i know what went wrong.

What kinds of problems with you have with the software? Do you mean you had trouble installing it? You said downloading it, but downloading a file from a Web site usually isn't very problematic...- Jason

hey im wondering if the Zune would be cool for me. I first looked at it because im already connected to other microsoft services (windows live messenger, xbox live etc.). Im thinking about getting one because it can play videos, has 80G of memory and is relatively cheap. However iv already had trouble downloading the software (havent bought a zune yet tho) and from watching your video on it it doesnt look all that greater than itunes or my samsung media player. Overall, how does Zune compare?
