Mayweather is the best. I want to see him beat Cotto just to shut fans up but if he stay retired I'm cool with that. But nobody gets me on the edge of the seat when watching a fight live like Mayweather did.About people saying he's ducking and blah blah. Even if Mayweather beat Cotto, then someone would name other boxer that Mayweather should fight. There is always someone out there that people will say he should fight or he is ducking. It's stupid really.

I completely agree with you. But whenever someone so good retires, there would always be someone saying that he's "ducking", even if they retire at 50.

Even if he beats these top welter guys, he still wont get the credit he so much deserves. Floyd was the pound for pound king coz he is a level above the rest.

Also look at who's he's beaten, castillo, corrales, dela hoya, gatti, ndou, judah and hatton. These are some of best, and people sayin he aint fought nobody good C'MON. Gatti got embarrased, dela hoya got out boxed, judah and corrales was taken apart bit by bit, and hatton, well mayweather just took him to school..see how versatile he is he can adapt to styles. But im not convinced dat he's retiring for good, i think he should fight mosley and cotto.

Anyone who's saying that mayweather is not a good BOXER and hasn't fought anybody good really doesn't know much about boxing at all. Mayweather is a masterfull BOXER. Alot of people dont appreciate the skills he has. If u just like power, knockouts, brawls and stuff like that then fair enough. But if u appreciate the sweet science of boxing, then you would appreciate Mayweather. He does what ever he can to beat you.

If you have ever seen a fighter by the name of junior witter, look him up. that guy from england is a real boxer and challenged gayweather@jr welter. he made a mockery out of zab. why didn't he fight witter then?(another threat) to the hbo's money machine.
