Your body and property is an inherent right. Performed service on that property from someone else is not. Government forcibly taking money (taxes) from everyone, invariably including those who may have chosen healthier lives, and largely redistributing it to the unhealthiest for expensive bodily maintenance is not only morally reprehensible, it removes the financial incentive to lead a healthier lifestyle. Government is itself a monopoly and you need to wake up to the evils of welfare.

Congrats, you just explained the government intervention portion of our health care system Mr. Misattribution of the Problem. Been to a doctor's office with a competitive price list lately? Oh wait, that's right, we don't have a free market patient/doctor relationship. We have a bunch of unionized doctors and government enabled middle men handling prescriptions and coverage. HMO Act anyone? Time for you to start learning how the very thing you want more of is the problem itself.

You're living in a gated community in your ASS: Promptness?!? HAH! REAL PEOPLE in America w/ insurance know that scheduling appointments, getting referrals to specialists, getting insurance company approvals for those referrals, making appointments w/ those specialists, getting evaluated, and then finally getting treatment can take months. That's for the DECREASING populace WITH insurance! Get a ticket to the Clue Bus and stop just blurting out stuff you dont know about, FrankenFag.

p.s. pity about that THIRD loss to Democrats...tsk, tsk.
KremeDeMentia (May 15, 2008 at 6:37 am)
p.2...and I can compare 'simplistic objectives' to healthcare when that healthcare and all those glorious benefits of which you speak becomes purely profit-driven and exponentially untenable for all but the rich. And you forgot to mention, Cap'n Limpwrist, the VAST costs spent on reviewing claims for payment and billing that costs every man, woman and child more than a dollar a day- costs that no other civilized country adds to it's healthcare. Don't believe? Research it if you can - and LEARN.
KremeDeMentia (May 15, 2008 at 6:07 am)
You couldn't point out where anyone ever said that doctors wouldn't be compensated, assclown, because that was desperate self-deception. Just as is your willful benightedness to not view health as the primary component of our inalienable RIGHTS to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. These are all impossible without a person's health. Disagree? Then you clearly have yours(except retardation), and like any typical conservative swine, can't empathize with the vast tracts of people that dont.

REVOLUTION needs to be now!
BansheeXYZ (May 13, 2008 at 11:46 pm)
That's what a right is, dumbass, a natural entitlement. You mean PRIVILEGE. And you can't compare the simplistic objectives of delivering mail, putting out a fire, and enforcing the law to the diagnosis and treatment of countless complex human diseases and afflictions. The quality and promptness of this system is tops and it's high government tax and inflation that makes it so expensive. And you want more? Stop blaming Bush alone, it's all of them. Dems = Vietnam, SS, Medicare, NAFTA.
KremeDeMentia (May 13, 2008 at 1:18 pm)
part 2. Because illegal immigration has been mishandled by your Republican president is no detraction from the merits of U.H.- as compared to the present system-where immigrants are already taxing emergency rooms and city clinics- all of which we pay for. I'm completely for building a wall to keep illegals out! America's plague doomed to failure for choosing to fund a $2 Trillion war while allowing current healthcare trends to increasingly buck off a growing sector of workers. Absolutely stupid.
KremeDeMentia (May 13, 2008 at 12:54 pm)
Who the hell said that doctors will not be compensated under U.H.? Point out to me where anyone advocating U.H. has said this before you go on. Are doctors chained to their iron lungs in Europe? Have you been to Europe recently - like i have? Out of principle do you reject the Universal Police Service and Universal Fireman Service who are paid from "money taken from us and dispersed regardless of who works hard and who doesn't"? Absolutely stupid AND hypocritical. |
