I was just speculating, I'm by no means an engineer, just a curious person. It all seems pretty interesting. Thanks for the response.Yeah, in my mind what i was thinking would have been as wide as a 4 lane road, dunno how long. SIlly youtube vids making me think of such random things.Impractical doesn't mean impossible! gimme that at least

It wouldn't be practical at all, as you would have to carry your high pressure high volume water source around with you (Heavy..), or have some crazy hose system setup. So yes, a water powered turbine directly powering a moving vehicle is impossible. You can have an indirectly water turbine powered car. (ie: electric car charged with hydroelectric power). If you want a turbine powered vehicle get a gas turbine, although you might find it a little impractical.

Sorry, i meant to specify mass transportation vehicles, say the length of a bus but the width of a tank? i dunno, i was just curious. Not compact ones for personal use.Is it impossible?

LOL!!!If you have a high pressure high volume water source available in your car....

Good stuff man. Was searching for something like this cuz i have a mechanical engineering exam today. Would have brilliant if you had somehow shown the parts moving which wouldn't have been too much extra work, would it? Anyway, try to post a moving version; i mean, with the runners moving and stuff...Again, good job.

Could something like this power a car without needing gasoline?
