thats becuase you have a crap model in the fz range by high end spend a bit more moneystop being so TIGHT //// FZ31Z IS THE BEST AT SOUND

Sorry, that would be lightweight magnesium. Anyway, I did find one other minor fault that may or may not be an issue for you depending on if you will use it much. The Motion Eye webcam takes great stills, but the video SUCKS! It is horribly grainy. Worse than the Gateway and HP I had. That basically means that webcam video conferencing is going to suck. :( You can always buy an external one of course, but come on Sony!

I just bought one..the 430E. The only fault I can find with it is the mouse buttons are a bit too small and the speakers are kind of weak. (Not very loud.) But I plan on hooking up externals anyway. It is a GORGEOUS laptop. The prettiest one I have owned, and I previously had one of those shiny, swirly HP's. Honestly, I like the understated looks. And it's not PLASTIC. It's made out of lightweight aluminum.

all the new vaios have AV buttons.. this one is a rly ugly style tho. my vaio looks alot better, i have the NR series

to play music you dont need to turn on the fz31z machine just hit the av button and music pictures videos are all there without turning on the operating sdstem |
