PhishtankPhobia (August 16, 2008 at 2:41 pm)

Sounds pretty cool, I love strats too but there's just something about the weight and feel of an LP (not to mention the tone) that I love... I have an Epi 50th Anniversary LP Custom (1798 of 2002) and a Gibby 98 Standard. Weirdly the Epi sounds considerably better. Strange huh?

Well.. I´ve ownded two les pauls so far. A custom shop florentine and my current limited edition. I like the sound pretty much, but personally I think strats sound better. Besides, les paul necks (even the slim tapers) are just too fat for me. Though my dot has a rather wide neck, it isn´t near as fat as the les paul (which is a a slim taper).. So, that´s why I´m probably letting it go..

but...but you can't trade your LP! It's just not right :(

I'm listening to these guys for the first time and I'm thinkin'"Where is the Bass?" And I see there is only one guitar---DANG! "That guy is playin' lead and bass at the same time!" POWER HOUSE BLUES! From the roots to the sky! Dude!
